ArtisticRecent updates on school. Finish working on my Final Year Project (FYP). My team consisted of really amazing and talented people. We slaved for 3-months, barely sleeping at all, and against the odds, completed our first ever short animation clip entitled "The Story of I". For information, visit this [link] . Our classmates were amazed, our lecturers loved it and people who watched the official screening doing our graduation show were impressed. Those 3-months were well worth it. And as mentioned, yes, I've finally graduated with a diploma! Yes!
As for interests, well I have a couple currently. First off, Tales of the Abyss, the anime not the game. Quite good, considering I don't really watch anime. First 8 episodes can really grind your nerves though. Not gonna spoil anything so watch it yourselves to find out why (google it). But it gets really sweet later on, ending was disappointing however.
Next is Final Fantasy versus 13. Looks really really really good! The latest trailer (released on 16th April) shows mainly the in-game graphics, not gameplay sadly. PS3 is really powerful. Still, I don't think this game will be released until late 2010, and the English version will most likely come out in mid 2011. *sigh* This looks so much better than FF13, so I'm looking forward to this game rather than FF13.

As for my art, practicing mainly 3d stuff. Like Maya, 3ds Max or doing sculptures. Sadly, I won't be able to do sculptures unless I plan to give them away, because I don't have anywhere to store them after they're done. *sad*
Hmm, just bought a new book featuring artwork by Yoshitaka Amano. Anyone who has played Final Fantasy should know him. His work is incredible. If you don't know him, go google him and check out his work. Inspired me to try out watercolor and Indian Ink. Did some experimental indian ink paintings like painting with an ice cream stick or a piece of scrap wire. Can't post them up though cuz I used some DD photos as reference.
Ok, now personal life. Where do I start? How about... I can drive now! Yes! Got my license in February. Passed on my first attempt. Had to spend the next couple of weeks driving my parents around, to get in some extra practice as well as familiarize myself with some common routes. Now I'm allowed to drive without guidance! W00t!
Hmm, my sister is in US, doing her university internship. Guess where she's working? Some resort in Jackson Hole. Like wth? I've been wanting to go there my whole life! So I'm really jealous right now. Hmph! My parents went with her for a week to help her settle down but because of school, I couldn't go at all. *sigh* Well, maybe I'll visit her in July or something. Heh...
